On Phuket's hills and with a passenger
Phuket is not flat. Patong hill, the climb up to Big Buddha, the road over to Kata and Karon — these are the moments a scooter shows its limits. Solo, both bikes handle every one of them without fuss. Two-up is where they separate:
- Click 160, one rider: excellent. Light steering, nips through Bang Tao and Cherng Talay traffic, effortless to park at Boat Avenue.
- Click 160, two adults + bags on a steep climb: it will do it, but you'll feel it working and the extra weight makes it twitchier.
