Kata is a small beach town wedged between hills. The main beach is about 1.5 km long, and Kata Noi lies behind the headland as a smaller, quieter bay. The Karon Viewpoint on the road south is the photo everybody stops for. Kata itself you can walk end to end, which is what persuades people to book without transport — until they check where the viewpoints, Promthep and the next beaches along actually sit.
Everything outside Kata is uphill. The viewpoints, Promthep and the beaches on either side are reached over switchbacks with real gradient, and the descents matter as much as the climbs. Hold your speed with the engine rather than riding the brakes down. After rain the painted lines and the drain covers turn slippery, so take the bends wide and early. None of this is hard, but it is not the flat coastal road most riders picture before they arrive.
This is the one district where engine size is a practical question rather than a preference. A 110 or 125 runs out of pull on the viewpoint climb once there is a passenger behind you. The Yamaha XMAX 2026 is the top of our fleet: brakes, torque and stability that make the hills a non-event, with a deposit at the upper end of the 2,500–5,000 ฿ range to match. The Honda ADV160, from 330 ฿ a day, solves the same climb with less bike under you. The helmet is in the price, and we bring it to you in 15–30 minutes.
Kata is a compact beach town between green hills: Kata beach (about 1.5 km), the intimate Kata Noi cove behind the headland and the famous Karon Viewpoint, from which you can see three bays at once. You can't get anywhere on foot — all the beauty is over the passes.
That's exactly why in Kata what matters is not just a bike, but a bike with power to spare: the climb to the viewpoint and the road to Promthep are switchbacks on a gradient. We give out Honda ADV160 and Yamaha XMAX here with serviced brakes; the city Click/PCX are for rides along the beach and into Karon.
In low season (May–October) Kata is Phuket's surf capital: a steady swell and board rentals right on the beach. A bike with a rack will carry both you and your wet wetsuit.

Yes. To ride a motorbike in Thailand you need an international driving permit with category A. Without it the fine at a police checkpoint is usually 500 ฿ to 1,000 ฿, and the insurance will not pay after an accident.
No. We take a cash deposit of 2,500 ฿ to 5,000 ฿ only and never keep your passport — it stays with you for the whole rental.
From 3,500 ฿ for a Yamaha Fino 125 — that is 117 ฿ a day — up to 15,000 ฿ for a Yamaha XMAX 2026. A Honda ADV160 2026 for a month is 7,500 ฿, or 250 ฿ a day.

The price drops in five steps: 1–3 days, 3–6 days, 7–11 days, 12–17 days and 18–23 days. A Yamaha Fino 125 costs 250 ฿ a day on a short rental and 150 ฿ a day from 18 days.
The lowest daily rate in the fleet is the Yamaha Fino 125 from 18 days: 150 ฿ a day. The Yamaha Grand Filano 125 costs 250 ฿ a day for 18–23 days against 300 ฿ on the first three days.
We work like a scooter supermarket: 10 models from 150 ฿ to 800 ฿ a day. The budget end is the Yamaha Grand Filano 125 from 150 ฿ a day and the Yamaha Fino 125 from 150 ฿ a day on a long rental.
The premium end is the Yamaha XMAX 2026 from 500 ฿ a day and the Honda ADV160 2026 from 300 ฿ a day on a long rental. There is a model for every wallet.
Thailand drives on the left and a helmet is mandatory for the rider and the passenger. Police checkpoints ask for the international driving permit: the fine without category A is 500 ฿ to 1,000 ฿.
In the rainy season the road is at its most slippery during the first 10 minutes of a downpour — slow down and keep more distance.
