Scooter Deposit Return: How We Film the Bike's Condition on Video
At APARTEL the scooter deposit is 2,500–5,000 ฿ when you choose the cash option. We film the scooter's condition at handover together with you, and compare the return condition with the same clip. How does the handover video work?
- Free delivery. Confirm the additional conditions and timing in Telegram @apartel1.
- For the cash-deposit option, you show your passport — the details go into the contract, and the document goes straight back into your hands.
- Complete the selected security option: leave the cash deposit when that option is chosen; if the passport option is chosen, follow the agreed passport procedure before riding.
- Together we walk around the scooter and film it: bodywork, mirrors, plastics, wheels, mileage. Film it on your own phone too — we encourage it.
- You get two helmets and a raincoat and ride off. Both sides keep the clip until the rental ends.
What happens at drop-off?
We collect the scooter where we delivered it, or use an address agreed in advance. We compare the condition with the handover video and follow the written return and deposit terms.

A dated handover video gives both sides the same reference for any damage discussion. Choose the cash-deposit or passport option before handover; with the cash deposit, keep the passport with you, and record the agreed return terms in writing.
How should a damage disagreement be handled?
When a return shows possible new damage, compare the condition with the handover video, record what is observed, and agree the repair basis and any deposit deduction in writing.
And if the scratch really is mine?
If you notice new damage, contact APARTEL and compare it with the handover video. Ask for the proposed repair basis and how any deduction follows the agreed rental terms, then keep the final return record.
